Chiranjeevee Pokhrel For Dcnepal, Feb 10 2016 – This is the problem of female students of Jana Prabhat Madhyamik Vidhyalaya located at Kathmandu’s Kalimati. They have made a complaint against a lower-secondary-level teacher Dhaneshwor Prasad Sah due to his allegedly involvement in harassment. They have made complaints that Dhaneshwor had been touching and pinching the sensitive parts of the female students. Mr. Dhaneshwor Prasad Sah had threatened the students that he would even kill the student in case any female student report at home, as female students have made complaints against him. On the other side, the girls from the school have expressed their dissatisfaction over the silence of principal and school management committee though they have been reporting and asking for the justice frequently in front of them. In a question – what he does, a girl of about 10 years answers, “He pinches and touches all the parts of the body.” When she was asked – where he touches, the student shows all the parts including arms, breast, waist and back. In the same question, another girl of about 12 years replies, “He pinches me on chest; enters his hands in the pockets; asks what I have in my pocket; and he even tries to touch the private parts from inside the pockets.” When the student was asked how often he did so, she replied that he did it many times.As the School Management Committee did not respond even after the complaints of the girls, the girls had visited Women and Children Service Centre of Kathmandu’s Metropolitan Police Premises in order to complain against Mr. Sah.
