A harvester for outdoor harvesting of radish. The weather circumstances on the open field are unstable and sometimes very extreme. To harvest radish under all circumstances, a harvester has been developed by Koppert Machines which is capable to do this. All wheels are separately hydraulic driven so that the extra large and good profiled tires continuously have a optimum traction with the sometimes difficult passable ground.
The compact builded harvester is very stable and extremely manoeuvrable. This harvester is deliverable in a 9, 12 and 14 row harvesting bed. To transport the harvested radish, the harvester has an option possibility to pull a wagon (especially developed for the outdoor harvester). The radish will be seized on the leaves by means of the strings, and pulled out of the ground to be transported to the cutting-construction. The cutting-construction separates the leaves from the radish bulbs. The radish will be catched by means of transport belts.
